ART MADNESS! If you like art (and we know you do), and you live in NYC, it doesn’t get better than this week. There are a BAJILLION things to do and see, including on the third floor of The Standard, where Rassa Montaser and Wallis Gallery present NothingEverTouches. There’s art in Times Square (See David Kennedy Cutler’s sculpture on 46th and Broadway), there’s art in The Park Avenue Armory, there’s art on the West Side Highway, it’s all over the place.
At Bortolami, one of my favorite galleries around, they’ve got a double header you should know about: The work of Anna Ostoya and Tom Burr will show concurrently for the next month at the 20th street gallery. This is great, because I’m personally a huge fan of Tom Burr… annnnd I’m told that Ostoya (this is her first solo showing in New York) went on an art making BINGE for the entire month of February, creating 28 new paintings on canvas for each day of the month. This is a DON’T MISS THIS kind of thing, so, um, DON’T MISS IT.
